Duty system on 3 weekly rotation.

1 week of duty intake spread across the team dependent on referral rates. (16-18 children across the service)

Child Protection & Family Support SW / SP 16 – 18 Children
Staying Together SW 5 as primary practitioner + 5 as secondary practitioner
Disabled Children’s Service SW / SP

28 – 30 Children

Combination of active children receiving complex CIN packages & cases receiving direct payments requiring annual reviews

Looked After Children SW / SP 16 – 18 Children
PA 20 – 25 Young People
Adoption Team SW / SP

12 – 22

Mixed caseload of children and assessments of prospective adopters.

Fostering Recruitment & Assessment SW / SP 5 – 8 Assessments
Fostering Support SW / SP 18 – 20 Foster Carers
Independent Reviewing & Conference Team IRO 50 – 70 Looked After Children
CP Chairs 14 – 18 CPC’s per month / 160 – 180 CPC’s per year.
Various teams NQSW

Graduated across the ASYE.

General rule: NQSW’s start with half of the caseload of their host team and incrementally increase. Example below
